Reservations

Our Studios and 1 Bedroom Apartments offer accommodation for two Adults and up to two Children aged 12 and under plus a Child under two (2 ) years in a cot, or a maximum of two (2) Adults at the quoted rate, or a 3rd adult at a surcharge.
You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking and we will hold your room for your arrival. If you have selected cash as your method of payment at the time of making your booking, please be aware that your room is considered as non guaranteed. All non guaranteed rooms will be released three days prior to arrival.
You can guarantee your room by giving your credit or debit card details at the time of booking or paying for your room in full. Deposits or pre-payments may be made by cash, credit/debit card or direct deposit into our bank account. We accept the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Visa. When using a credit/debit card, the holder of the card must be one of the persons intending to stay in the room.
For any special offers, you must quote the offer reference at the time of making your reservation. Offers are not applicable as amendments of your reservation after it has been confirmed. We reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any time.
Please note that any offer quoted can not be used in conjunction with another offer. Special conditions may apply to offers, please ensure you read these special conditions.

Pricing

Rates quoted when you book are per room per night, in single, double or twin occupancy. Rates include GST at 10.00%. The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments reserves the right to review its room rates without further notice.
Please note that due to events that are staged in the City, higher rates may be applicable in line with the above policies.

Methods of Payment

Payment by cash, credit/debit card or company cheque may be made on departure. We accept the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Visa. When paying by credit/debit card, one of the guests staying must be the holder of the card used to pay for the accommodation. Failing this a Third Party Credit Card Authorisation form must have been received in advance of the check out. Company Cheques issued by a major Australian bank are also accepted. Payment for your room by cash must be made on arrival at The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments. You will be asked for the full amount of your stay plus A$100.00 to cover for any incidental charges during your stay.
Customers paying with cash are required to provide identification on check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are: Current Driving Licence or Passport (must be photo identification).

Cancellations and Amendments

Special Offers and Red Hot Deals made via our website are considered final and are non-refundable. For all other bookings made via our website, cancellations and modifications can be made  up to 72 hours prior to the arrival date. Any changes made within 72 hours will encur a one night’s accommodation fee per room booked.
In case of cancellations, a cancellation reference will be given and should be retained as proof of cancellation. Amendments to reservations are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
If you decide to shorten your stay with us, you must inform us a minimum of 48 hours prior to the new intended departure date otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked.
The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments recommends travel insurance be taken out to safeguard your travel arrangements.

Group Bookings

The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments considers as a Group any booking of three (3) rooms or more and our Group Booking Procedures will apply. Please contact the Reservation Department at The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments for details.

Special Requests

We are happy to assist with any special requests although we stress that special requests cannot be guaranteed. Please note that all rooms at TheCoogee Sands Hotel & Apartment are non-smoking . The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments has two (2) rooms, which are specially adapted for guests with disabilities. If no disabled room is available at Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments, we will advise you at the time of your query and endeavour to assist where possible.
Alternatively if you have difficulty walking but do not require a specially adapted room, you may request a room near the lifts for easier access.
Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments will make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements; all rooms are subject to availability. We sincerely apologise in advance if your particular requests cannot be met.

Check-In/Check-Out

Accommodation is normally available from 2pm on the day of arrival. We recommend that guests state their estimated time of arrival at the time of reservation. The Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments will endeavour to accommodate early arrival rooms however we are unable to guarantee this. To guarantee access to a room prior to the pre-stated check-in time, the room must be reserved from the night prior.
Though our reception is open 24 hours, we would appreciate if you can please let us know if you expect to arrive after 11.00pm. At check in, when paying by credit card, it is customary to effect a pre-authorisation, for each room booked, of the total amount of the stay plus $50.00 to cover any incidental charges.
Your room must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night’s accommodation.

Finally

We regret that with the exception of guide dogs, no pets are allowed at Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments.
Reservations for rooms are non-transferable and must not, under any circumstances, be sold or otherwise transferred to a third party who is not a member of your group.
