Swimming Pools
If you are looking to swap some salt water swimming for a little chlorine, then small indoor pool at The Diggers is the only pool in Coogee. If you’re looking for something larger, then Des Renford Leisure Centre (approx. 15 min drive from Coogee) has two indoor pools, a 50 meter heated outdoor Olympic pool and a covered kids pool – there’s grassy areas to sit on, BBQs and kiosk. Also approximately 15 minutes away is the beautiful new Gunyama Acquatic Centre which features a kids waterplay area with waterslides plus indoor and outdoor pools. Or, if you love the outdoors, then Botany Pool (about 23 mins from Coogee) has a fabulous large soft grassy area with lots of trees, playground and BBQ area surrounding their two large outdoor pools.
