Every year, both locals and tourists eagerly anticipate the renowned Sculptures by the Sea exhibition, which graces the scenic coastal walk between Tamarama and Bondi Beach. Here, artists transform the natural landscape into the world’s largest free outdoor art gallery, featuring over 100 sculptures crafted by artists from across Australia and around the globe. With up to half a million visitors attending the exhibition each year, it’s an event not to be missed. In 2023, Sculptures by the Sea marks its 25th anniversary, having showcased 2,691 sculptures by 1,129 artists from 51 countries—an impressive testament to its enduring appeal.
